Public Cloud Lessons Learned

This week we launch a new webinar on Public Cloud Lessons Learned. For years we keep hearing “Cloud-First, Cloud-First” and “I don’t want to be in the data center business any longer.” There is no doubt, the cloud remains a critical part of an enterprise IT strategy. However, with today’s computing demands, it is not the only component of a successful IT infrastructure. IT leaders are looking to find the right balance for placement of computing workloads between the cloud, on-premise, and the edge. As Gartner predicts, hybrid digital infrastructure is a top technology trend in 2020.

And when we look at IT spending over the last decade, cloud spending went from $0 to $1 billion dollars. Most people believe that a dollar spent on the cloud means a dollar NOT spent on enterprise data centers. It is not true. Synergy Research showed that spending on data centers steadied and increased along with the cloud in the last ten years.

With IT leaders now focused on cloud repatriation for a number of reasons, which we will cover in our webinar, it’s a good time to review on-premise workloads and capacity, hyperconverged technologies, data gravity, security and more to put a successful cloud repatriation plan in motion.

Join us Thursdays at 12 PM ET for a lively discussion on Public Cloud Lessons Learned and best practices as we help you look at your technology infrastructure.
